Block party sends local kids back to school in style

EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) -

A block party in Evanston is making sure local kids head back to the classroom in style.

Trend Setters Hair Studio held its second annual Back to School Block Party on Tuesday on the corner of Fairfax Avenue and Hackberry Street.

The event offered free shampoo and styles for children. There was also food, school supplies, a live DJ, bounce houses and games. 

In 2012, organizers gave school makeovers to 87 young people.
