Hundredsof signatures were collected by Citizen's Choice, a group of residents who wantto put the issue on the November ballot, and they claim they turned all theirpaperwork in on time.

Accordingto the Wood County Board of Elections, however, the filing deadline was August7, but signatures were not verified until August 12. Now it is up to the WoodCounty Prosecutor to determine if the issue can be placed on the ballot.
