Brandon Weeden threw a touchdown pass and Travis Benjamin had a 91 yard punt return for a touchdown to highlight a 27-19 Browns win over St. Louis on Thursday night.
Weeden finished the night 10 of 13 for 112 yards and a two yard touchdown pass to Dion Lewis. Weeden finished with a rating of 127.7. The touchdown pass came on the first play of the second quarter. The drive came after Buster Skrine recovered an Isiah Pead fumble, Phil Taylor forced the fumble.
Benjamin's play came shortly after the Weeden-Lewis scoring connection. After a Rams drive stalled, Benjamin backpedaled and hauled in a punt on the Browns nine yard line. Seconds later he was standing in the other endzone, putting the Browns up 17-0.
Cleveland added another touchdown in the fourth quarter when Cordell Roberson caught a 26 yard touchdown pass from Brian Hoyer.
