Authorities searching for robbery suspect in Ft. Wright

FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) -

Authorities are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a pizza delivery man Monday afternoon in Fort Wright.

According to police, the man was robbed in the parking lot of Fifth Third Bank on Highland Pike, while attempting to make a deposit. It happened just after 3 p.m.

Police say the male suspect did not show a gun but did threaten him with bodily harm. He was last seen running through the bank parking lot and behind a nearby Walmart Supercenter.

A search was conducted in the area, including a helicopter, but was not successful.

Authorities say the suspect is described as a black male in his 20s. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean baggy shorts and blue and white gym shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040, the Fort Wright Police Department at (859) 331-2191 or the Kenton County Communications Center at (859) 365-3191.
