(Toledo News Now) -

Canadian astronaut and pilot Chris Hadfield posted an amazing photo taken over Niagara Falls to his Twitter feed Monday.

The photo was snapped as two Canadian Snowbirds, Canada's military aerobatics demonstration team, flew over the falls.

Hadfield's Twitter following swelled to over 900,000 when he began tweeting pictures from the International Space Station in December of 2012. Hadfield returned to earth in May of this year and has retired from the space program.

The photo was taken by Snowbird Crew Chief Sgt Tevor Llewellyn sometime in May.
