Woman dead, child injured in Hardin County Accident

KENTON, OHIO (Toledo News Now) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says one person is dead and another is injured after a crash on US68 near Kenton in Hardin County.

Police say Lisa Frater, 50, of Dunkirk, was driving a pick-up on US68 when she crossed the centerline, drove off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and overturned. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 7-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital by Lifeflight.

Mrs. Frater was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
