Lenawee Crime Stoppers rewards 5 tipsters for suspect arrests

LENAWEE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -

Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County has rewarded five tipsters after their information led to multiple suspect arrests.

Crime Stoppers of Lenawee is a program made up of community leaders and media that raise money to be used to pay rewards for information that assist law enforcement in solving cases. This program is available to all Lenawee County law enforcement agencies, fire departments and probation officers.

If you would like to donate to Crime Stoppers of Lenawee, call 517-264-5374.

Anyone with information on a crime or suspect is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Lenawee by calling 517-266-6161 or 877-276-8477. You can also text your tip to CRIMES (274637) starting with the word "Lenawee." Additionally, a tip can be left anonymously online at Lenawee's Most Wanted.

Tips, along with the identity of the tipster, is kept confidential and protected by state and federal law. Any tips that lead to a suspect's arrest will earn the tipster a cash reward.

    Toledo Police are investigating a downtown Toledo bank robbery. Police said a man robbed the Huntington bank earlier on Friday afternoon. Witnesses then said the man started walking down the street and was handing out money to people saying it was God's work.
