OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) - Pearson Metropark in Oregon will soon have a brand new park for kids to climb and play on, but first they have to tear down the old one.
Friday volunteers from BP Husky Refinery and their families where at Pearson Metropark to remove the existing playground and to make room for a new one.
Toledo News Now's Mallory Moore was at the Pearson Metropark on Your Day to talk to volunteers.
They will also be out Saturday, starting at 8:30 a.m. working to tear down the old park.
