FOSTORIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Fostoria man is facing multiple charges after a drug task force with support from local police authorities executed a drug-related search warrant at his apartment.

On Friday, the Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, Fostoria Police Department and Seneca County Search Warrant Team executed a search warrant at the Brookside Apartments on state Route 18 in Fostoria. The FPD's canine unit was called in to assist.

Authorities discovered heroin, U.S. currency, criminal tools and drug paraphernalia in the residence.

William Del Reisner, 33, was arrested, but charges of possession and trafficking in heroin, along with possession of criminal tools are pending upon the completion of the investigation, as well as further analysis of the suspected heroin that was found.

"We will continue to enforce and investigate any and all drug use, sales, and criminal activity reported in our county and surrounding communities. Area law enforcement has been receiving drug-related intelligence and complaints on the apartment, and we were able to address the illegal activity," said Seneca County Sheriff William Eckelberry.

To report suspicious activity, contact your local agencies or the Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit Crime Hotline at 1-877-446-DRUG.
