Toledo man with 16 warrants arrested, held on bond

A Toledo man with more than a dozen warrants was arrested Tuesday and appeared in court Wednesday.

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A Toledo man with more than a dozen warrants was arrested Tuesday and appeared in court Wednesday.

Bobby Rashawn Lanier was wanted by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Toledo Police Department for the following:

1) Burglary
2) Assault
3) Domestic Violence
4) Aggravated Menacing
5) Domestic Violence
6) Assault
7) Domestic Violence
8) Assault
9) License Required
10) Lighted Lights
11) Seat Belt
12) Obstructing Official Business
13) Possession of Drugs
14) Possession of Drugs
15) Trafficking in Drugs
16) Trafficking in Drugs

In a recent incident back in June, police reports show Lanier came up to a victim on Boalt Street in Toledo and punched her in the face. He then grabbed her by her hair and dragged her out of the vehicle. Reports say Lanier then fled the scene.

According to U.S. Marshals, Lanier was supposed to surrender earlier this month, but failed to appear. Lanier was arrested by the task force Tuesday.

He appeared in front of a judge Wednesday morning. He's being held on a $100,000 bond for burglary charges, along with three $50,000 bonds for domestic violence charges.

He's due back in court Aug. 7.
