Brown Co. pair facing drug trafficking charges

A Brown County couple is facing drug trafficking charges.

Michelle Wells, 42, of Mt. Orab is facing three felony counts of drug trafficking and one count of child endangering. She was arrested on July 17 by deputies assigned to the Sheriff's Office Special Operations Unit. She's being held in the Brown County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.

Another suspect, Christopher Sweet, 29, also of Mt. Orab, was arrested on July 21 on two felony counts of drug trafficking. He has been released on a $10,000 bond.

Deputies also seized two vehicles used in the commission of the alleged offenses.

Both of the arrests were made following an investigation into persons trafficking Suboxone in Brown County.
