Detroit Lions Youth Camp heads to Northview High

The Sylvania Northview High School Football program has worked with the Detroit Lions football program to bring the official Detroit Lions Summer Youth Football Camp to Sylvania.

SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Detroit Lions football team has held youth football camps for 9 years, and more than 10,000 kids around the state of Michigan have participated in the program. For the first time ever, the Lions Youth Camp will be in Ohio.

The Sylvania Northview High School Football program has worked with the Detroit Lions football program to bring the official Detroit Lions Summer Youth Football Camp to Sylvania.

The camp is for children ages 6 to 14 and is limited to 70 participants. It will be held from July 22 to 25 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Northview High School. Two half days will be focused on offense and two half days will be spent on defense.

The cost is $169 and participants will receive T-shirts and meet a current or former Lions player.
