Fugitive wanted for allegedly punching woman over break-up

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Antonio Dotson. Police say the mother of his child told him she no longer wanted to be with him, and he responded by punching her in the face, splitting open her eye.

CLEVELAND (Toledo News Now) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Antonio Dotson.

Dotson is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Cleveland Police Department for an aggravated assault that occurred Feb. 7.

Police say the mother of Dotson's child told him she no longer wanted to be with him, and Dotson responded by punching her in the face, splitting open her eye. The assault took place near the 13600 block of Benwood Avenue in Cleveland.

Dotson is also wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for a probation violation.

He is described as a 22-year-old black male standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 153 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe Dotson is hiding somewhere in Cleveland. He has a previous address near the 3600 block of East 103rd Street in Cleveland.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Antonio Dotson is encouraged to contact the NOVFTF at 1-866-4WANTED or text keyword "WANTED" with the tip to TIP411. Tipsters may remain anonymous. A cash reward may be available.
