Thousands still without power in Sandusky County

SANDUSKY COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

American Electric Power says there are more than 6,700 costumers in Sandusky County without power as of Friday morning. That is 58% of their costumers in the area.

Crews working to restore power for AEP costumers say it will take them until Sunday night at 10 p.m. to finish their work.

The American Red Cross has set up cooling stations around the county for people without power.

Toledo Edison has 1,100 outages in Sandusky County. There are 94 customers without power  in Wood County and 43 in Seneca County.
