TRY THIS: Dinos in hats take over high fashion website

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Vogue's UK website has been taken over by dinosaurs wearing high end hats.

On Thursday, various Internet sources began reporting that if you typed in the Konami Code on Vogue's website, the lower third of the site would be taken over by dinosaurs.

For those of you who aren't children of the 80's, the Konami Code is a video game cheat code that you could type in during the title screen of many games, like Contra, Castlevania, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dance Dance Revolution, to get free skills or bonus items.

So our Digital Team immediately went in to test it.

Here's how it works:

  1. Head over to http://www.vogue.co.uk/ on your computer
  2. Once the page loads, use your keyboard to type ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A)
  3. Now you should see a dinosaur in a hat
  4. Want more dinosaurs? Of course you do! Enter the code and then hit your 'A' key again. You should see a lot of different dinos.

Vogue officials say the dinosaur fun isn't hacking, it was an Easter Egg put on the site on purpose. Or was it a Dinosaur Egg...
