TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Toledo Bomb Squad was called to Point Place's Ottawa River School playground after a report of a bottle bomb.

Police and fire crews were called to 108th Street and 290th Street where a suspicious bottle was found. Police say it is a Drano-type bomb. However, it seems to not have been made very well because if it was left overnight, it should have exploded already.

According to police, they were able to vent it and no explosion occurred.

Officials did not believe it was a safety threat, but treated the situation cautiously, keeping people back as a precautionary measure.

No injuries were reported and no roads were closed.

Police say they have some leads in the case and a witness has come forward with information about who might have left the bottle there.
