Arrest made in Springfield murder

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield police have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old woman on Federal Street Thursday afternoon.

Police say 22-year-old Terrance Brown of Springfield has been charged with the murder.

Police say calls came in just after 3 p.m. that a woman had been shot in the chest. When police arrived at 60 Federal St., they found a woman in the back of the address suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was rushed to Baystate Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at the ER.
