Tift County High graduate Larry Dean returned to town Saturday afternoon to host a Back to School Rally.
Dean, who went undrafted out of Valdosta State, now plays special teams and linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings. He's says that giving back to the community and enforcing education is important for him.
"It's very important to me to able to come back to my hometown to see a lot of the kids," Dean said. "Just to be able to provide some school supplies or a start-up kit just to emphasize that they need to stay in school and continue to do good things."
