Suspicious death investigated in Bowling Green

Bowling Green Police are investigating the suspicious death of a former BGSU professor, and they're waiting on toxicology reports to see if foul play was involved.

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) - BowlingGreen Police are investigating the suspicious death of a former BGSU professor,and they're waiting on toxicology reports to see if foul play was involved.

It'sbeen more than a month since 66-year-old Dawn Glanz passed away, and police areinvestigating the irregularities in the case.

"Wewere surprised, shocked, because I knew she never had any health issues and shewas only in her 60s," said one neighbor. "I was just thinking, 'Wow, she's soyoung to just all of a sudden die.'"

Glanz'sneighbor wanted to remain anonymous, but she says in the past eight years,Glanz and her husband Robert Brown never lived together.

"Theywere always very cordial," the neighbor said. "I never saw any issues betweenthe two of them."

Brownwas questioned by police but is now declining other interviews.

Policesay no suspects have been named.

Accordingto court documents, Brown planned an estate sale for Glanz's possessions, buther family filed a restraining order to prohibit that.

"Ijust hope it was natural causes," Glanz's neighbor said.

TheWood County Coroner says the cause of death is still pending.
