Lightning strike lights shed on fire in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A shed on Labelle Street in Springfield caught on fire because of lightning Monday night.

Springfield firefighters say a bolt first hit an aluminum camper in the house's backyard, and that lead to the shed catching on fire.

    The remains of Korean War veteran Army Cpl. Jules Hauterman will be returning home to western Massachusetts after more than 50 years.  People are being asked to welcome him home on Wednesday by lining sidewalks in Holyoke to welcome the fallen hero home.
