Police net four for driving under the influence

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Four people were arrested for driving under the influence on Friday night during a sobriety checkpoint at Dorr St and Towerview.

The University of Toledo police department held the checkpoint through the Lucas county OVI task force.

765 vehicles were checked.

19 officers from 5 different local law enforcement agencies participated.

Number of vehicles diverted - 60                                  

Number of DUI arrests - 4          

Number of Under 21 DUI arrests - 0

Number of No Operators License citations - 5                                                     

Number of other citations issued - 27                                 

Number of vehicles seized - 12                                 

Number of other non-traffic arrests - 3(1 Firearm)                                      

Number of misdemeanor arrests (Warrants) - 10                                 

Number of Restraint Warnings - 6                                             

Number of Restraint Citations - 7
