    Police say a van was heading down Broadway when the driver crashed into another parked van. Police say the force of that crash caused the driver to cross into oncoming traffic and hit another car before coming to rest on the sidewalk.

    In less than two weeks, several clinics will shut down including family practice, pediatric services, prenatal care, women's health, adult medicine and dental.

If you were looking for some relief from those pesky mayflies, this won't be your year.

The Port Clinton News-Herald is reporting that northern Ohio researchers say the mayfly population isn't in trouble, despite recent water quality issues in Lake Erie.

Mayflies are actually a sign of a *healthy* Lake Erie.

One researcher says the lake is probably in better shape than it was when the mayflies disappeared back in the 60's and 70's.
