Suspect arrested in Winton Place double murder appears in court

WINTON PLACE, OH (FOX19) -

A man was in court on Friday after he was arrested and charged in connection with a double murder in Winton Place.

William Williams Jr., 25, was taken into custody Thursday for the shooting death of 38-year-old John Martin and 29-year-old Brandi Fields. He was arraigned on Friday and had his bond set at $500,000.

On April 13, Cincinnati Police responded to a report of two people shot inside a vehicle at 39 Topridge Place.

Both Martin and Fields were pronounced dead at the scene by the Hamilton County Coroner's Office.

Williams has been charged with two counts of aggravated murder.
