OCC students planning ahead with school supply drive

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

As the 2013 school year comes to a close, students and staff at Owens Community College are already looking ahead to the fall.

The tenth annual school supply drive is underway. The program is targeted towards kindergartners, collecting gently used backpacks and brand new notebooks and supplies for the upcoming academic year.

Representative Laura Moore says the goal is to allow students entering school for the first time in their lives to start out fresh, with all the tools they will need for success.

Mallory Moore takes a closer look at the supplies being collected and explains how you can donate on 'Your Day.'
