LUCAS COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The 2013 Summer Reading Club kicks off this week at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library.

Lucas County residents of all ages can participate. In fact, there are four categories of reading levels from infants to adults.

In addition to improving reading skills, this free program also offers fun activities and prizes.  Visit the library's website to learn more about the Summer Reading Club

Last year more than 18,000 people participated. The library hopes a lot more people sign up this year.

Give it a shot - your kids will love it and their reading skills will remain sharp all summer long. It is a great program.
