TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Lucas County Prosecutor's Office says an arrest has been made in a 30-year-old murder in Lucas County.
Janean Brown, 19, was found dead in a ditch along Archbold-Whitehouse Road just outside of Whitehouse on November 19, 1983.
The case then went cold for nearly three decades, until it was reopened in 2011.
On Thursday, Andrew Gustafson, 56, was arrested in his home in Birch Run, MI on two counts of aggravated murder and one count of murder in Brown's death.
He appeared in court on an extradition warrant and remains in the Saginaw County Jail.
