TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - As seen on 'Your Morning Saturday,' Gerald Hyslop talks about his new Toledo restaurant.
After years of working as a chef, Hyslop decided to use his own money to invest in a new eatery called Cater You Family Diner.
The restaurant opened in April 2013, serving an assortment of traditional American breakfast and lunch dishes at extremely reasonable prices. All of the meals on the menu cost below $10.
Hyslop said by not turning to loans and outside sources to fund his business, he's able to offer customers a better deal.
Cater You Family Diner is located at 3928 LaGrange Street in Toledo, 6 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, 6 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
