PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A company source has confirmed that the Diamond Crystal Brand plant in Perrysburg will be closing as of July 26.

Nearly 150 workers will lose their jobs.

The plant makes salt, pepper and sugar packets used in restaurants. Splenda reportedly pulled its contract with the factory, saying they could make the product themselves.
