Northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan Memorial Day parades

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Many northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan communities will be holding Memorial Day parades this weekend. Here's a list of when and where the parades will be held.

Toledo

Saturday, May 25 - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Downtown Toledo

Monroe

Monday, May 27 – 2 p.m. – South Monroe Street.

Bowling Green

Monday, May 27 – 10:30 a.m. – Starts at Washington and Main, heads north on Main to Court Street. The parade will stop for a short service at the courthouse, before proceeding to Thrustin and heading north, then East on Merry. The parade will then stop for a service at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Defiance

Monday May 27 – 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. - beginning at Triangle Park and ending at Riverside Cemetery

Fremont

Monday, May 27 – 10 a.m. – North Front Street to Roger Young Park

Findlay

Monday, May 27 – 10 a.m. - Begins on West Front Street, then moves to South Main Street and on to Main Cross Street, ending at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Napoleon

Monday, May 27 - 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Begins at Henry County Fairgrounds, then along South Perry Street to the Maumee River Bridge, then onto Washington Street to the Henry County War Memorial for a service.

Perrysburg

Monday, May 27 - 10 a.m. - Louisiana Avenue and Fifth Street to Fort Meigs Union Cemetery

Sylvania

Parade – Monday, May 27 – 10:15 a.m. – Beginning at St. Joseph's School, then north on Main St. to Erie St. finishing at Veterans Memorial Field.

    Toledo Police are investigating a downtown Toledo bank robbery. Police said a man robbed the Huntington bank earlier on Friday afternoon. Witnesses then said the man started walking down the street and was handing out money to people saying it was God's work.
