Browns owner Jimmy Haslam apologized to other team owners at a league meeting on Tuesday for the scandal rocking his Flying Pilot J trucking company.
The apology came after a lunch break, according to USA Today writer Jarrett Bell. After asking NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to speak, Haslam addressed his fellow owners for about five minutes.
Haslam reiterated what he said last week at a trucking industry conference in Indianapolis, that he had no knowledge of the rebate fraud taking place. He also apologized for any harm the investigation may have caused the league.
Haslam believes the investigation into the rebate fraud won't affect his ownership of the Browns.
