Gardeners are warned of dangerous cold weather

Gardeners were given warnings about the cold weather and how they affect the plants.

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Spring has sprung at the Toledo Botanical Gardens.

Moms from all over were there Sunday for the annual Spring Plant sale.

More than 5,000 plants were for sale from this past Thursday to Sunday.

Gardeners were given warnings about the cold weather and how they affect the plants.

"If you do have some plants outdoors, cover them up with a tarp or newspaper. Keep them warm in case the frost does come," said Marna Cousino.

You can buy plants there seven days a week.

The greenhouse is located off West Bancroft Street.
