TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A Toledo man is dead and his killer is still on the loose.

The mother of victim Ramon Dorsey, 22, says the two knew each other.

Dorsey was shot Saturday afternoon in north Toledo. He was pronounced dead Sunday morning at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Toledo Police have no motive for the slaying.

On Sunday night, family and friends marched through the streets of central Toledo chanting "Everything Mon." It was organized by Dorsey's mother, Delaha, as a call to end the violence in Toledo.

"Ramon has changed his life. Wasn't gang related what happened. Ramon was just in the wrong place at the wrong time," said Delaha Dorsey.

Police have charged Patrick Harris, 30, with Dorsey's murder. He's still on the run.

Police say Dorsey was found slumped behind the wheel of an SUV in the 2800 Block of Summit Street. A municipal court document says Dorsey's brother, Rico, witnessed the shooting and identified Harris as the triggerman.

"My oldest son was into it with the dude about some money. Ramon went over to the house to get some clothes and they got to shooting," said Delaha Dorsey.

Ramon Dorsey's girlfriend of seven years says he was a good guy who took care of their two kids. But she says he had his enemies.

"He probably did. Lots of people didn't like him. He used to gang bang when he was younger, but no longer does," said Staci Gudger.
