Two arrested in Findlay OVI checkpoint

Several drivers in Findlay were cited for OVI and drug possession at a checkpoint conducted on Friday.

FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Officers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Findlay Police Department and Hancock County Sheriff's Office made two arrests Friday night in an OVI checkpoint.

Officer checked 858 of the 1,019 vehicles passing through the checkpoint on Tiffin Avenue.

The checkpoint was used as a reminder to motorists not to drink and drive.

In addition to two OVI arrests, officers made arrests for drug and drug paraphernalia possession.

The checkpoint lasted four hours.
