Leading Edge with Jerry Anderson – May 12, 2013

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The world was shocked and amazed this week when three girls, missing for more than a decade, were found alive in Cleveland.

Jerry sits down with officers Flo Wormley and Byron Daniels of Toledo Police to discuss crimes against children, and the program they run to keep kids out of trouble and graduate from high school. Hear how you can help the STRIVE program by attending an upcoming event.

Then Jerry speaks with Pam Hays, of the Arms Forces organization. As America winds down two wars, more and more veterans are coming home with traumatic brain injuries.  Pam explains the challenges soldiers face, and the changes that need to be made to help them cope and recover.

Don't miss Leading Edge with Jerry Anderson, each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on WTOL11.

For more information about the Toledo Police STRIVE program, call officer Wormley at 419-245-1367 or officer Daniels at 419-245-1165.
