Car crashes into Palmer building

PALMER, MA (WSHM) -

Palmer police responded to an accident Thursday evening when a car crashed into a multi-family home on Springfield Street.

Police told CBS 3 the car was traveling eastbound when it crossed the lanes, went over a sidewalk and eventually crashed into the side of the building.

One person was home at the time, but was unhurt.

The two occupants inside the car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver of the car is expected to face charges.
