Suspicious vehicle in Oregon school district

OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A text alert was sent to all parents in the Oregon area, after a bus driver reported seeing a suspicious car multiple times while driving her route in the last few days.

District officials say the driver has noticed the same car parked along her route multiple times between 8 and 9 a.m. in the Curtice area, not far from Eisenhower Middle School.

The car is described as a dark blue Chevy Impala or something similar. The bus driver said the car did not have a front license plate, and the back license plate was upside down.

The description of the man sitting in the car is vague, but officials are urging everyone to keep an eye out.

"It's very important to be aware of our surroundings when something is just not right," said Dean Sandwisch, director of business affairs for the district. "Everyone has the opportunity to say something, so the bus driver did it just right."

Police and the sheriff's office have been notified. If you see the car or suspicious activity, call 911.
