SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A new restaurant opened Friday at Mayberry Square in Sylvania Township.

Brenda Boudrie says she dreamed of serving people, so after the recession took its toll on the car industry, where she worked, she decided to fulfill her dream. She headed west to study hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Boudrie learned how to open and operate a business, and when the former Chili Jack's location opened at Mayberry Square, she decided it was time.

Going with the Mayberry theme, Boudrie's place is named B's Café – from Aunt Bea on The Andy Griffith Show.

The menu features hot dogs, chili mac, and B's now-famous loaded potato and barbeque beef.

Boudrie says she wanted to stay open until 8 p.m. throughout the week for families with active schedules.

"I've had several parents in there this week with their sons, coming in to have a hot dog before they went home because they didn't have time to cook," she said. "So that's one of the reasons…to take care of those families who are busy and don't have time to cook."

B's Café is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

After double overtime, the Toledo Walleye came out on top and beat the Indy 3-2 Thursday night for a sweep in the series. Even though the fish had a 3-0 lead in the first round playoff series, the toughest thing to do in hockey is to beat a desperate team on their home ice.  Halfway through a second overtime Kyle Bonis sets up Christian Hillbrich to score the game winning goal.  The Walleye now advances to the second round. They will play the winner of the Fort Wayne and ...
