TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Police are investigating a deadly shooting in west Toledo early Monday. It happened after midnight on Twin Oaks Drive off Dorr Street.

Nathaniel Phillips, 21, of Bancroft Street in Toledo, was found dead at the scene with several gunshot wounds. An autopsy will be completed on Phillips Monday afternoon.

Police say Michael Kohlhofer, 19, was also shot in the incident. Kohlhofer was admitted to a local hospital but is expected to survive.

The shooting is believed to have started inside a townhouse in the area and spilled out into the parking lot, where Phillips was found dead.

A large perimeter was taped off at the scene. Two people - a male and a female - were taken downtown for police questioning. After interviewing several people, no arrests have been made.

Several neighbors say they heard multiple gunshots outside in the parking lot. One neighbor said he heard gunshots, along with some sort of commotion between people. When he looked out of his window, the witness said he could see two suspects running between buildings towards Dorr Street.

Officers could be seen looking through a nearby dumpster, knocking on doors and scouring nearby neighborhoods.
