TOLEDO, OH (Press Release) -

In honor of the Glass City Marathon this weekend, the Toledo Area Humane Society (TAHS) is offering reduced adoption fees on many of their furry friends.

All adult cats will have their adoption fees reduced to $26.20, and those that have been patiently waiting at TAHS a little longer will only be $13.10.

Specially-marked dogs will also have their fees reduced to $26.20.

These adoption specials will run Friday through Sunday, April 26-28, so run on over and meet your new best friend.

TAHS is also looking for foster volunteers who are able to temporarily care for litters of kittens who are too young to be adopted. TAHS provides any supplies volunteers may need while taking care of these little ones.

Another way to help is to donate. TAHS is in need of supplies and food to help care for all their animals. These may include canned dog and cat food, new or gently used towels and blankets, soft dog and cat treats, and kitty litter. Donations can be dropped off at TAHS during business hours: Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

For more information visit the TAHS website or their Facebook page.
