This stay of unusually warm October weather has a countdown to cool. Highs will stay in the 70s and even reach to just shy of record 80s on Saturday before it all comes to a close. The end of the warmth begins late Sunday evening as showers sweep across the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This late weekend system will be just the start to a cooler pattern next week; that will bring our coolest temperatures of the season so far.

NORTH BALTIMORE, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Work is under way for the first business to move in next to the CSX Intermodal ramp on Route 18 in North Baltimore.

Findlay-based WillMar International specializes in international logistics and transloading. They've been in business since 1999, and they say their new headquarters near the CSX Intermodal is a perfect fit.

WillMar International facilitates a wide variety of customers, from some of the largest metal importers in the country, down to individual customers shipping items overseas.

For three years now, they have been working on a plan to relocate.

"We feel that it's going to be the up-and-coming center for distribution of this area," said WillMar President Bill Martin. "It's a perfect location for us."

The facility will be their new headquarters, and various warehouse facilities across the country will be consolidated to the new location. The move will make WillMar International the only local filing-approved, licensed US Customs broker in the region, meaning they can ship anything from or to anywhere.

Martin is also confident the new facility will help spur other growth in the area.

"We will be the catalyst to the steam ship lines, to the customers in the area to start utilizing that ramp more," he said.

WillMar International plans to make the move this fall.
