TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - This is the Green Chair that symbolizes an organ transplant recipient's second chance at life.
Each year, Life Connection of Ohio, along with WTOL 11, features the Green Chair in the 24-hour Donate Life Sit-in.
The tagline is "Don't let another chair go empty." Currently more than 3,400 Ohioans are on the organ transplant waiting list. In the entire country, another person is added to the list every 10 minutes.
Through organ donation you can save up to eight lives and positively impact the quality of life for more than 50 people.
