Motorcyclist hits deer in Hancock County

Eagle Township, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A motorcyclist is recovering after hitting a deer on Sunday night, just southwest of Findlay.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Christopher Crosby, of Rawson, was traveling southbound on SR 698 in Eagle Township, when a deer ran across the roadway.

Crosby collided with the deer, lost control and crashed in a ditch. 

Crosby suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital.
