NEW FRANKLIN, OH (WOIO) -

Police have released the 911 call for help after a couple was brutally murdered in New Franklin.

The couple, Jeffrey and Margaret "Peg" Schobert, was beaten to death with a sledgehammer.

Shawn Ford, Jr., 18, is charged with killing the couple inside their home on April 2. Investigators say Ford bludgeoned them to death.

A 14-year-old boy is also facing charges in the killings. 19 Action News has learned the teen and Ford are friends.

A worker remodeling the Schobert's home found their bodies and called 911.

911 CALL: We've got two murders, two murders...We thought they weren't here this morning, we were in here doing work.  And I went into the bathroom, and I walked by the bedroom and, oh my God, Peg was laying on the ground and Jeff was on the bed.  They're {expletive} stabbed to death.

Ford was dating the Schobert's youngest daughter, Chelsea. He is also charged with viciously attacking her in Akron.

Ford's case is now in the hands of the Summit County Grand Jury. He will be back in court later this month.

No motive has been mentioned.
