Elyria police say an ongoing investigation resulted in the arrest of several suspects, and lead a home to being condemned.

The first set of arrests were made on Tuesday, April 9,  after police conducted a search at 8 Tatteral Court.

Investigators arrested Jeremy Mack for trafficking in heroin, promoting prostitution and Compelling prostitution; Ashley Onysko for possession of heroin, permitting of drug abuse, compelling and promoting prostitution; and Toby Lewis for possession of crack cocaine, trafficking in crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

According to reports, Mack and Onysko used the Internet to run a prostitution ring in which they sold women under their control for sex.

After the search, police realized that the building located on Tatteral Court wasn't livable. Police say there wasn't any running water,  and the overall condition was unsatisfactory. Elyria's building department has since decided to condemn the property.

Since February 2012, Elyria police have arrested several other people during their investigation.
