Two suspects have been arrested after leading police on a chase from Oregon to east Toledo late Tuesday morning.

It started in Oregon around 10:45 a.m. when police say they were searching for thieves who were trying to steal scrap from a business on Alexis Road in Toledo. An Oregon police officer spotted the suspects in a black Dodge pickup truck near Seaman Street and Wynn Road, and tried to pull over the vehicle, but a chase ensued.

The chase ended just after 11 a.m. after the driver ran over a pole and crashed into a retaining wall by a house on Maryland Avenue and North Ravine Parkway near Ravine Park in east Toledo.

After the crash, both suspects were arrested.

No one was injured during the chase.
