OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Oregon police have called off the search for three male suspects who went inside Walmart and left with $1,600 worth of electronics. Police say it happened about two weeks ago, and thanks to the public's help, they have located the men.

Police say three men walked into the Walmart on Navarre Avenue on March 19. They then walked out with a cart full of electronics, including computers and a security camera system totaling $1,600. The suspects fled in a silver Dodge Caravan, which had Michigan plates, according to witnesses.

Oregon police say thieves coming across the border to commit these crimes in the community have been happening more often.

"There's really no way to prevent it. We just try to send out the message, you know, that we're not going to tolerate it. We're going to seek these people out and prosecute them," said Kelly Thibert with the Oregon Police Department.

After sharing the photos on Facebook and Twitter, officers from Michigan recognized the suspects who had been arrested for similar offenses throughout Michigan, and provided all the necessary information to Oregon police. Charges have been filed.

Attorney General Mike DeWine said that mandated school safety plans are required to include floor plans, and aerial pictures are an optional supplement.
