Tyler Police investigating early morning robbery at ETX motel

Released by the Tyler Police Department:

On 03-30-13 just after midnight, Officers of the Tyler Police Department responded to 1812 E. Gentry in response to a robbery. Upon arrival officers contacted the victim. The victim stated that he came to the Relax Inn Motel to rent a room. While there he was approached by two males and one female asking for cigarettes. During the conversation, the victim was told by one male that he had a knife. The 3 suspects then removed the victims property from his pockets and stole his 2006 blue Ford Expedition. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported at this time. The suspects were described as one Hispanic male approximately 5'10 and 150 pounds, with a shaved head, wearing a grey or blue hoodie and blue jeans. One black male, approximately 5'07 200 pounds, wearing all black. One white female with spiked blond hair, approximately 5'07 140 pounds, wearing a red shirt and black shorts. The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information about the case is urged to call the Tyler Police Department.
