TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The investigation continues after a fire ripped through a north Toledo home overnight. The blaze sparked just after midnight in the 1100 block of North Erie near Chestnut.
Crews arrived to find massive flames shooting out of the vacant house and garage. The garage was burned to the ground in just a few minutes. The house was destroyed.
Firefighters were able to keep the flames from jumping to other nearby vacant homes.
Demolition crews knocked down what was left of the house.
Investigators say the cause of the fire is suspicious.
