Escaped juvenile accused of shooting in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Clarksville teen who escaped state custody last year is accused of a shooting this week.

Police are looking for Dervon R. McWaine, 17, who has been missing from state custody since March 2012.

Police said McWaine fired several shots at another person on Commerce Street on Thursday and is a suspect in several other crimes involving the use of weapons.

The public is urged to call 911 or police at 931-645-8477 if they spot McWaine.
