TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Local leaders are urging businesses across northwest Ohio to provide job opportunities to teenagers this summer.
The City of Toledo, Lucas County, and other groups will be hosting a summer teen job fair on May 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Seagate Centre.
"This is a real opportunity for businesses in our area to do some economic gardening to grow their own employees," said Carol Contrada.
Businesses interested in taking part in the upcoming job fair should call the city's Youth Commission Office at 419-245-1417.
